HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

In honor of this time of love, my gift to you is two love songs to woo you.

"Love At First Sight"
This is a song I wrote; it was inspired by Edvard Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King", but, of course, that melody has been jazzified, bluesified, and Mrs.Hobbs-ified. The artwork cover shows just how much I love my accordion, and was inspired by a part of what I did in "Common Side Effects".

"My Funny Valentine"
This is the classic jazz standard by Rodgers & Hart. The cover art is a little valentine made of my beloved accordion's parts (the buttons in the background, the red bellows in the hearts).

You'll find both of these little aural presents in the Music section of MrsHobbs.com.

Finally, there's also a new page on the site with photos, videos, and press from the
"QuattroFormaggio" show in December.
Take a look -- I think there are some beautiful shots. It's off the Shows page.

Singin' and Squeezin',

Mrs. Hobbs
