HAPPY HOLIDAYS - GOODBYE 2009

What a year! I can't believe all the great places I've played this year -- The Theatre of Note Performance Marathon, Max 10 at The Electric Lodge (4 times), The Trapeze School at the Santa Monica Pier, Carnivale of Creation at Golden Bridge Yoga, Robin's Sculpture Garden for The Abbot Kinney Festival, Sanctuary at The Church, The Stronghold, Venice Beach Wines, Studio Seress, Viva Gallery, The Downtown Artwalk, Upstairs at the Market Gallery, Phantom Galleries, The Hive, private parties, and of course multiple events at The Talking Stick.

Theatrical performances included the multi-media mini-opera "The Girl of the Sea" featuring Anne & Jeff Grimaldo, Quentin Josephy, Jerry the Priest, Annabelle Cabrera, Milo Martin, and Amy Kaps. "Where Did My Love Go?" featured Deirdre Gaffney and Alex Vlahov as clowns Chloe and Hemingspeare. And "This Tree Called Love" featured Poli Marichal's shadow puppets.

And during the summer "Ketchup Soup" was born. We are a duo act with lovemando on guitar and me on accordions, (and sometimes harmonica and kazoo) and we both sing. We have been getting a pretty exciting response to our jazzy/bluesy/folksy/cabaret thing that we do, and you can look forward to a cd and such in 2010.

Check out the last show of the year at the Lesley Anton Ceramic Store as well as a taste of what's to come in the new year (info below).

A big 2009 thank you and happy holidays to all!
